The event is co-sponsored by Entergy Louisiana , LLC, the Governor's Office of Elderly Affairs, the Louisiana State University AgCenter, AARP Louisiana, the Louisiana Attorney General's office and the Senior Health Insurance Program.

The program will feature speakers and sessions covering a wide range of fraudulent schemes and scams. Topics include home repair scams, payday and title loans, telemarketing scams and medical and insurance fraud.

The day will also feature a session from the Jefferson Parish District Attorney's office as well as exhibit booths where partnering organizations and others will answer questions, provide informative literature and offer advice.
