Scholarships available for Jesse L. Jackson Sr. Fellows

PUSH-Excel are currently accepting applications for this year's Jesse L. Jackson Sr. Fellows.
The Scholarship program provides funding to students to begin, continue and complete college.
Jackson Fellows are awarded to strong high school students. Selected fellows will receive $5,000.00. The award will be paid directly to the college or university he/she is attending.

Orleans Parish School Facilities Master Plan

The School Facilities Master Plan is a comprehensive plan for the Orleans Parish public schools.
The plan will serve as a blueprint to guide future school renovations and new construction. It is a joint project of the Recovery School District (RSD) and the Orleans Parish School Board (OPSB). The planning process is ongoing and residents are encouraged to participate in planning meetings. Visit the website for more information. New Orleans Public Schools Common Application Process

New Orleans public/RSD school registration deadline was March 19th.
A common application form is used to apply for acceptance at the majority of the city’s public schools, including all of the Recovery School District’s traditional public schools and public charter schools and some schools that are in the New Orleans Public Schools system. Forms are available at, and can be submitted to, the RSD's Welcome School, 2239 Poydras Street or New Orleans Public Schools' central office, 3520 General DeGaulle Drive.
